Dec week #1 Blog and Fly of the week Klinkhamer Special
Posted by Greg on 12/5/2011
We have the PARTRIDGE KLINKHAMER BLACK NICKEL, PARTRIDGE CLASSIC SPIDER HOOK, and the PARTRIDGE NORTIC TUBE SINGLE (F1) hooks in stock Now. Along with many others.  So, to get your juices flowing here is the Klinkhamer Special Step by Step.....

The Hook: Partridge Klinkhamer Hook 15BN or Partridge Saltwater Shrimp Fly Hook CS54,

Sizes: 6-4 for salmon & 8-18 for grayling and trout

Thread: Uni-thread, 8/0, grey or tan for body. Spiderweb for parachute

Body: Poly 2 dubbing any colour of preference

Wing: One of to 3 strands of white poly-yarn depending of the size and water to fish

Thorax: Three strands of peacock herl

Hackle: Blue dun, dark dun, light dun, chestnut all in good combination with the body colour.
For flies tied on the CS 54 I double the amount of Poly yarn, Peacock herl and hackle windings.

Also, the VARIVAS FLY TYING HOOKS are in as well.  We have the saltwater hooks in stock now, if there is an intrest in some specific saltwater models we can get them as well.

There has been a shipping issue with the New Bug Bond Torch.  For some reason the FDA won't allow the new light to cross into this country. (something to do with the UV qualities of the light).  So, until we create a workaround we will not be able to offer the new light (torch).  We do have the original torch, which works great as far as I'm concerned. ( I use the original torch ).

There are a bunch of real nice Whiting and Hebert Capes on thier way to us, from pro grade to Gold Grade.  We will have them posted as soon as we recieve them.  So stay tuned, to be the first to grab your colors before they sell out.  I believe there is even a couple of Cree in there.

Also, We have added a mini store on our Whitewater Flies Facebook Page.  This is just like buying something through the site, just click on the item and it takes you right back to the product on our site, and then continue with your purchase as you always would.  We will be changing the items on the Facebook store periodicly, and will be adding some good Christmas ideas on there this week.
