This crab pattern is great to use just behind where the waves break.  This is where these crabs reside.  If you remeber the last time you were at the beach and watched as a wave rolled in, then receded, as the wave receds back to the ocean, you notice the little holes with bubbles comming from them, these crabs are what make those holes.  They are great food for the stripers cruising the shoreline.
