Hello everyone, Well, it is already December, and we have the first show of the season under our belt. The International Fly Tying Sympoosium was good, despite the new location, and superstorm Sandy. Traffic seemed good for the weekend, sales were down from the previous year, but, that could be related to alot of things.
Here are just a few updates, as I'm sure you're getting bombarded with e-mails, flyers and such during this holiday season. So, we won't take much of your time.
We are in the final stages of negotiation with Alberto Calzolari. We are planning on offering his Cottarelli Vises through our shop, and online store. This is truely the Ferrari of fly tying vises. All Italian made with the best materials available. Plus it's a beautiful looking vise. The price is suprisingly resonable for the quality you get. It should be in the $300-$400 range depending on if you want the Standard or T Rex (Pictured). Stay tuned, it should be on our site and available for sale within a week or so.
Keep in mind that you can defer payments for 6 months on orders over $99 through Bill Me Later, offered by paypal to help you during this holiday season. Just select the Bill Me Later option durring checkout.
We have a new Shipment of the great Slimline Daylight Fly Tying Lamp. This is the light you see Steve Silverio, Bob Popovics, and some other tyers using at the shows. It provides a nice bright white light, great to tie with and many use it for photos as well. Great Christmas Gift.
We are also carrying the F.W. Engels Stainless Scissors ,fine German Made Scissors that are used by Jonny King, Dave Nelson, and Steve Silverio, to name a few. These scissors are the best you will buy. We are offering them on a limited basis. We have a small curved blade 3 1/2", ( left in the pic) and a straight pair 4 1/4 " range. Wonderful scissors. Great Christmas Gift.
The Next show for us will be the Marlborough MA. Flyfishing Show. On Jan January 18, 19, 20 2013 .
We will be bringing all of the Flymen Fishing Company's products to the flyfishing shows. Martin will not be attending these shows, so we will represent him and his company. We will have John Collins tying for us at the Somerset Flyfishing Show, and Bill Murphy (of Murphy's Fly Box) in Marlborough, and Steve Silverio In Lancaster.
We hope everyone has a great holiday, and remember if you do need any Christmas gifts, please get the order in early, as things get hectic around here when it gets closer to the holiday. And we want to make sure you get them in time. Thanks again, Greg Becker
